Worker gets hand trapped in printing press, Pinetown

In The early hours of Tuesday morning Netcare 911 paramedics and their rescue unit was dispatched to an industrial accident in the Westmead area of Pinetown in KZN. Reports from the scene indicate that the worker got his hand trapped in the rollers of a printing press.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man to have sustained moderate injuries. The Netcare 911 rescue officer managed to free the man’s hand from the rollers. The patient was then stabilised at the scene before medics transported him to a Durban hospital for the care that he required.
